SMD (Surface Mounted Devices) technology delivers outstanding image quality, colour range and versatility in terms of a wider viewing angle for spectators. An SMD pixel consists of red, green, and blue diodes mounted in a single package rather than a normal outdoor LED (Light Emitting Diode) screen where you have red, green & blue lights individually mounted. Therefore a higher quality image will always come from SMD LED's compared to a normal LED screen.

Our perimeter boards have been used at the 2012 Cheltenham Literary Festival as well as the 2012 Basketball League and the 2012 20/20 Cricket - both televised on SKY Sports.
