“McArthuer Glen appointed Maritime Media Services Ltd to provide its DB35 Truck-Mounted LED Screen for our Winter Wonderland Christmas event in 2011. We needed a digital screen presence on site to both inform and entertain our 500k+ visitors throughout the 6-week event.
We also charged Maritime with attracting advertising and sponsorship revenue for the event in order to offset the costs of the screen and the event itself. Maritime did an outstanding job in this regard, attracting major brand advertisers including Warner Bros, Pepsi, Peppersmith, Buxton and Jaguar.
I was extremely impressed with the Maritime team throughout this campaign. The screen was delivered on time and set-up without a hitch, re-fuelled out-of-hours to avoid centre disruption and was manned at all times.
The screen itself was hugely impressive – great colours, sound and picture quality – it really added an extra dimension to the event and added to the overall experience of our visitors.
We’re not only inviting Maritime back for York’s 2012 Christmas event, we’re also putting Maritime screens in four other McArthur Glen centres for their Christmas campaigns.
